I had a Brunch today. I ate at 11:30 am (today is Saturday! Don't judge me!) So since I missed breakfast I decided to have a hearty lunch! I ate Egg Beaters - Egg Whites, onions, pepper, Lawry's salt, garlic, and food coloring. The reason I put the food coloring (orange) is because I'm so used to my parents doing it all these years. Orange eggs look better than yellow lol. I made my eggs scrambled/omelet style and put it on Arnold's Selects 100% whole wheat sandwich thins with less than a tsp of butter. I also had a half a cup of Tropicana orange juice and a banana. I never made this before so I was real skeptical. I took the first bite and... OMG it was heaven! My dad was sitting next to me so I had him take a bite. He liked it! My dad has high cholesterol and high blood pressure but he's thin. I told him that since he loves eggs so much that he should eat egg whites instead of regular eggs. I bet that would bring his cholesterol way down because that's the only thing that he eats that's high in cholesterol. He agreed! Score one for daddy! Now I just have to convince my mom! She's at church so when she comes home I'll have that talk with her. If I can get the whole family to switch over that's great because not only will I save money in groceries but I'm helping everyone become healthier and/or thinner! Well That was brunch for me!
